Decisions... Decisions...
So, let me get your opinion on something.
Do you think I should buy one of these?
Or, one of these?
I know. I know. The decision should be so easy. Just buy the TV. Who cares if our current hot water heater is older than I am? Right? Just buy the TV.
TV! TV! TV!
Unfortunately, someone somewhere in my past instilled common sense, good judgement and rational thinking into me. Damn them to hell! So, I guess that instead of watching hot, hairy and larger than life man-porn in high definition on my awesome new LCD TV (with 2-channel Ambilight), I'll just be staring at my dull, blurry reflection on the exterior of my exciting new hot water heater.
Anyone wanna come over for hot coffee, hot chocolate or a hot shower?
No? I didn't think so.
*Sigh!*

HAH! That's cheap for a water heater - be glad you don't live in a condo. The water heater went in my last 1br condo and it was $1800 (incl. labor) - same model in this condo! I can't wait to have a real house someday so I can get a regular water heater :-)
Though if you wanted to save money down the line and not waste nearly as much energy you could get one of these... Tankless Hot Water Heater
I need a new vacuum desperately. But I would much rather purchase a new HDTV too! And a new camera. How come expensive things always break after the holidays?
Strangely enough, the water heater we have is not broken. And it is 38 years old! That's as old as me! I am just replacing it because I know it's gonna go one day. Probably sooner than later.
